In addition, the DFDS network includes a passenger and freight service between Newhaven to Dieppe, which has four daily sailings and is operated by Transmanche Ferries.

Dover to France

DFDS offers up to 24 cross channel sailings per day on its Dover - Dunkirk route with one sailing every two hours from Dover. The average crossing time of just 1 hour 45 minutes on Dunkerque Seaways, Dover Seaways and Delft Seaways makes it a very popular choice for frequent cross channel travellers.

There are 20 daily sailings between Dover and Calais, which take just 90 minutes. A fleet of modern purpose built vessels - Cote des Dunes, Cote des Flandres and Calais Seaways, concentrates on the needs of the motorist and is dedicated to cars, cars and caravans/trailers, motorhomes and motorcycles.

Passengers can travel in spacious comfort, have a leisurely meal, relax in a lounge or bar, and stock up on drinks, fragrances and other goods from the shop at French duty-paid prices. An on-board bureau de change is also available.

Guests can also sail to France in style and comfort under their “First Class travel” option. You can upgrade to the VIP lounge for just £12 per person each way, which provides you with exclusive seating, complimentary drinks and food and a priority drive-on/drive-off service.
